Reviewing the Thermalright TL-G12 and TL-C14 Fans

I recently picked up a bunch of Thermalright fans for a new PC build, specifically the TL-G12 (120mm) and the TL-C14 (140mm). At the time, they were pretty inexpensive, and the promise of fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) along with PWM control sounded like a great deal on paper, so I bought quite a few of each. Specifications for the 120mm TL-G12: Speed: 1500 RPM (+/- 10%) Noise: Rated 23.6 dBA or greater. Airflow: Up to 62.6 CFM Connector: 4-pin PWM with a daisy-chain feature. Extras: Includes rubber pads on the corners for vibration dampening and standard case screws. Google Adsense considers this website "low quality content" so far...

I've been trying to get this website into Adsense as an added bonus to make a few cents here and there, but their approval system appears to be especially harsh. Keep in mind I have two other websites in the Adsense system.  "low quality content" and "thin content" Most of the articles here right now are text versions of my YouTube videos. I'm going to assume this is why I'd had trouble with getting their approval.  Sorry, this feels out of touch. I produce videos as my primary form of work and then create website articles based on the videos. The site has ~15 detailed articles so far. I guess the Adsense approval system considers it "low quality content". 🤷  Not everyone wants to watch a video. Trying Out Pano-Mounts PPTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads

Today, let's take a look at the Pano-Mounts PPTM7950 phase change thermal pads. Full disclosure: Pano-Mounts did send these over for me to try out and make this video about them.  UPDATE: Pano-Mounts sent me a revised material that is easier to install, so check out the related website article and YouTube video to see that in action.  Holding the Pano-Mounts PPTM7950 thermal pad packaging. The specific pads I received are the 40x40 mm size, with a thickness of 0.2 mm. They are rated at 8.5 watts per meter Kelvin for thermal conductivity. What makes these interesting compared to standard thermal paste is that they're made of a thermally conductive phase change material.  Graphic explaining how phase change thermal pads work. Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W (2024) Power Supply Review

Here's my review of the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W power supply. The 2024 version specifically.  I needed a PSU for my latest build, and the specs on this one looked alright given what was available on Amazon around Black Friday 2024. It was an abrupt purchase and in retrospect I should have done more research.  It's an 80+ Gold rated, fully modular unit with a 10-year warranty. On the box it says efficiency up to 90%. But, as I quickly discovered, there's more to this power supply than meets the eye, and not all of it is good. Getting a VESA mount into my Samsung S24C750P Monitor

Let's take a look at the Gladiator Joe Monitor Arm VESA Mount Bracket Adapter for two specific Samsung monitors. In my case the Samsung S24C750P.  My Samsung S24C750P monitor lacks a standard VESA mount. This was a significant negative when I was trying to get more desk space because I wanted to use a monitor arm for that screen. A quick search on Amazon and I found this adapter. Keep in mind that I purchased this bracket and have not hand any contact with the manufacturer.  The Gladiator Joe VESA mount bracket adapter fully installed on a Samsung Monitor. This adapter is specifically designed for two Samsung monitors: the S24C750P and the S27C750P.
